Holes 9 and 18
368 Yards / 342 Yards Par 4
“From an elevated tee this hole demands
a long drive to the right hand side of the fairway that slopes away to the left
– mature oaks right and left can catch an offline drive. The approach
to the green is protected by bunkers on the right, including the Captain’s
charity bunker (that’ll be £ 1 please), and a severe slope on the
left. As if that is not enough, there is out of bounds to the rear and right
hand side of the green! A good straight drive, an accurate approach shot and
two putts and you’ve got a par.” - Gary Johnstone
