Alderley Edge Golf Club has come a long way since 1907, when a small group of novice golfers decided to establish a course on the unpromising pasture known locally as Butterfly Bank. Dogged by problems with tenure of the land, drainage, and a course that was simply too small, these determined individuals eventually established a viable and flourishing club, which today boasts a fine course and a modern, comfortable clubhouse.

2007 sees a number of special events to celebrate this milestone in the club's history. Visitors are particularly welcome this year, and our open events promise to be very well supported.
